"Digital Transformation"
A sizzling buzzword of recent years, digital transformation refers primarily to technological changes within an organization, and to its customer user experience. Although transformation is an ongoing process that will probably continue to evolve in the upcoming years, the world has already caught up on the significance and potential of the digital medium.

So after organizations got that part down, what’s the next step?
It may sound simple, but it’s tricky nonetheless: they will have to master people. Technology is ever changing, and we change with it – and that begs the question:

Who is the person in the era of integration between physical and digital, and how do they behave?
Technology has always affected our lives, but what was once defined as technological determinism and took decades of execution, has become routine. Breakthrough technologies redefine human-machine interaction through artificial intelligence, autonomy, and language interfaces, making it more exciting and intuitive.
Our physical-digital environment shapes how we feel, communicate, listen, think and act. Our society is facing a double challenge: analyzing the tremendous cognitive and emotional changes constantly occurring as a result of technology, and constantly renew business and brand value accordingly.

An organization that succeeds in cracking the needs and fears of the human psyche in an integrated era, will be able to play a relevant role in the lives of its target audience and gain a significant advantage.

Relationship: The Next Level

No Boundaries, No Inhibitions

Social networks have changed our behavior. Digital space is open, infinite and limitless by nature, and so it summons duality: it is enabling, free and empowering – but also seductive, time-consuming and more explicit than physical space. Therefore, actions against digital violence can't be identical to those taken against physical violence.

This insight was at the center of Netica's rebranding process (formerly the Israel Internet Association). Netica is a division of the Israel Internet Association, established to provide citizens with the practical know-how in facing challenges of the digital space. With a deep understanding of the traits of both digital violence and human behavior, Netica is working to update interpersonal relationships through digital tools – and by gaining a new perception, Netica is then able to adapt the tools for dealing with online violence, to human behavior.

Fight, Flight, Share

The compulsive urge to share live content on social media at any given time and place, is a hot topic for research. It is so much more fascinating and surprising when the user’s life is in danger. In various terror attacks over the past year, we’ve witnessed videos that were shared live on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, documenting the event.
It’s still unclear whether the urge to share has become a third nature, but nowadays, we just adapt reality to change in behavior.

Carbyne was the first to develop new generation 911 technology, based on live streaming to emergency centers. Instead of calling and having to converse in times of distress, Carbyne allowed video to be broadcasted live. By doing so, they helped broaden the center's real time skills, and made communication with emergency forces compatible with society’s natural thinking and behavior today.

TAKE AWAY

The interaction between humans and the digital space is becoming increasingly more holistic and intimate. Digital transformation leads to changes in human thinking, feeling, and behavior. The next challenge is identifying and monitoring these changes in real time, and creating solutions for organizations who wish to adapt to the ever-evolving lives of their target audience.
